Звідки взявся "Патерсон" Джармуша
Вірші Вільяма Карлоса Вільямса, які явно слугувавли підґрунтям для фільму Джармуша "Патерсон". Поезія виглядає досить примітивною. Здається, що це взагалі ніяка не поезія. Принаймні уловити її там дуже важко.
Complete Destruction
It was an icy day.
We buried the cat,
then took her box
and set fire to it
in the back yard.
Those fleas that escaped
earth and fire
died by the cold.
This is just to Say
I have eaten
the plums
that were in
the icebox
and which
you were probably
saving
for breakfast
Forgive me
they were delicious
so sweet
and so cold
