Gina Buchanan is an author of contemporary romance novels. Mrs. Buchanan was born in Newport News, Virginia, to an American soldier and German mother. Being a military dependent throughout her childhood, she held residence in various locations throughout the United States and abroad, including New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, and Germany. She has been an avid writer since the tender age of 7, when she would spend countless hours creating picture books and writing short stories. In 1997, Ms. Buchanan won an honorary mention for her column in the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor's college newspaper.
