Initially bored with the idea, she soon became fascinated with reading and storytelling. She credits her uncle, an English professor, for encouraging her creativity.

I find that as long as I continue writing - no matter what I write - it will usually give me the kick start I need. If I continue to have writer's block - I put the writing aside and read a book. The telling of a story - not just the plot, but all the intricate details in between. The readers - their comments, their support, I always learn from them. In general, though, writing is very fulfilling for me. No matter what struggles I am going through - writing has always been very therapeutic - like reading. As long as there are words, I am happy.(less)
