YEAH! The final galleys for 'Secret in the Shallows' are being uploaded tonight! We should have it available any day now. It will be no later than the end of the week, but probably sooner. Keep checking the link for ordering information. For now, I'll leave you with a new excerpt. The printed book will be available this summer. A release day will be given as soon as we know.

EXCERPT: Ice had already formed on the edges of the pond as the freezing temperatures held onto their grasp throughout the winter night. Like a sheer veil, a light fog had settled over the monastery pond, only allowing a hint of the early light to be seen. The peacefulness of the morning gave no evidence of the storm that had raged only an hour earlier. An eerie silence hung over the forest as bubbles began to trickle to the surface of the monastery pond. Timmy’s lifeless body rose from the depths and floated face down, turning lazy circles in the icy-cold water.

Yesterday, "Secrets in the Shallows" gained a lot of momentum and ended up at the #88 rank on Amazon's Paranormal E-book List. Other featured authors on this list are Stephen King and Anne Rice. I'm thrilled that our book managed to be put on a list with such literary giants in this genre! To top things off, our book also reached the overall rank of #65,594 yesterday. Thank you to all of our family & friends for supporting our efforts!

As a special treat, I'd like to share a short excerpt from BOOK 2 from The Monastery Murders, called "Devil in the Details". ENJOY THE SNEAK PEAK!

Adrenalin pulsed through the attacker’s veins as the ropes encircling Tom Green’s neck went taunt. Power over the victim was like an addictive drug to the would-be killer. Each pull on the rope rubbed the victim’s neck raw and crushed his airway. An intense emotional rush filled the assailant with momentary satisfaction and supreme elation born from control over life and death.

The long sleeves of a habit's robe flared back with each yank, as the victim desperately tried to break free. Straining to hold Tom captive until he passed out, the attacker held a firm control. “You just had to run your big mouth, didn’t you?”

Tom’s unconscious body fell limply on the ground, still entangled in the rope. Shadows from the surrounding trees parted just enough for the pale early moonlight to shine on him. Standing there and quietly smiling, the attacker glanced over the sprawled victim for several seconds, before casting the rope aside.
