New Website

Dear friends,

I’ve come to the decision to create a new author website using Google for various reasons. At the moment, I’m in the process of transferring this domain (www.jennifereglynnauthor.com) to the new site, but it may take a few days for that to happen (I was told 24 hours, but research alludes to 5–7 days).

Fear not, as this site will still be running, with the current domain directing you here until (fingers crossed) it leads to the new site. Everything from contact to shopping can still be done with minimal to no impact.

There are both pros and cons to using this new set up, including more design flexibility with themes and style in exchange for screen size issues on mobile. At the moment, I’m still trying to get the pages to work more smoothly for mobile use, but for tablets and desktop, the site should appear as intended.

Nevertheless, I hope you like the new design. I’d love to know your thoughts. I feel it’s very me in some ways… very vintage, very country, very haphazardly putting anything and everything that looks even remotely nice into it in case I lose the image/video :’)

Feel free to snatch a glimpse of the site here (I hope the link works… if not, I’m afraid we’ll all have to wait until Google does its thing!)

Bookmarks are here!

Over the next few weeks, our handmade fabric corner bookmarks will be listed for sale. They’ll come in a variety of reversible colours and patterns.

The catch? Only one or two of each design will be available, so you’ll need to get in quick!

Today, I’m listing the beautiful ‘Picnic Days’ pack (2 bookmarks). In reversible red and orange designs, these two fabric bookmarks have been made by yours truly from 100% cotton fabric (excluding the inside lining). Thin yet soft, these corner bookmarks are the perfect way to protect your pages and keep track of your progress when reading.

With only one pack currently available (more being sourced), hurry to secure your order!

These will be available for both domestic and international customers (postage varies by just a few dollars), and can be combined with book purchases.

I am open to creating custom designs, too (including colour and pattern choice), so please don’t hesitate to contact us. More designs and colours will be listed soon, so please keep an eye out!

They’re on their way!

After ordering months ago, new copies of both Call Me Rumpel and The Beaumont Egalitarian Society are on their way!

I’m both excited and nervous to see what the new cover of Call Me Rumpel looks like. I’m really hoping the colours turn out to my liking this time, yet as I write this, the darker version has grown on me. In saying that, I have two copies left of the original dark cover (the only difference is the intensity of the green leaf background) if anyone would like to snag them before these new copies arrive (estimated either this week or next week).

I noticed a few weeks ago the shop page seemed to repeat listings rather than the individual books or package deal. I *think* I’ve fixed it, but may need to try a different approach/set-up with PayPal to make sure it’s working as it should. If you are currently interested in placing an order for a signed copy/copies and having trouble, please don’t hesitate to reach out and we’ll get it sorted for you!

I’m also pleased to announce that I’ve made some progress with the bookmark project (still toying with the best pattern for the book covers). I already have two ready to be listed, and will be aiming to sell them singularly, in packs of 2/5, or combine them with the books to cut down on postage costs where possible.

I’m hoping soon to also create some reading buddies. Small plush mice and foxes will soon be up for adoption, complete with little outfits and mini books; the perfect company for both cosy days reading and your little ones.

I hope you’re all having a wonderful start to the year. For me, it’s been pretty decent, spent mostly working on my stories and sewing projects and dancing around with the quoll families who have now taken up residence in the shipping containers in our front yard.

In saying that, I know there are many, many people around the world who are not, and I cannot in good conscience right this post without knowing there are more important things happening right now than this small business. My heart goes out to those who have lost their lives, homes, businesses, or simply gone through the fear of not knowing and evacuating the fires currently running ramping in Los Angeles. My heart also goes out to the many people who lost their lives and homes in the recent earthquakes in Tibet. I will soon be sharing links to places you can donate to help victims of both devastating natural disasters if you are willing and able to.

Please stay safe,

~Jennifer xx

ARC Database

It’s a brand new year and with it, new opportunities to make the book community better have presented themselves. Namely, providing a safe space for indie authors to advertise their upcoming novels and for readers to get their hands on an Advanced Reader Copy (ARC)*.

[image error]Pexels.com" data-medium-file="https://jennifereglynnauthor.com/wp-c..." data-large-file="https://jennifereglynnauthor.com/wp-c..." src="https://jennifereglynnauthor.com/wp-c..." alt="" class="wp-image-2183" style="width:260px;height:auto" />

Whilst the official page is still under construction, authors and readers are invited to fill in the below form to show their interest in receiving or distributing ARCs. This will also include rallying for street team members. Experience is not necessary, nor is having a large social media presence.

We will aim to compose a list of upcoming ARCs soon, with updates shared on this site and my social media.

Happy reading!

What is an ARC?

An Advanced Reader Copy (ARC) is a copy of a novel (or other book) sent to a reader prior to the official release date. ARC readers, different to beta readers, are encouraged to read the material and provide honest reviews, as well as help spread the word about the upcoming release (similar to street team members).

Whilst some ARCs come in physical book form, due to postage costs and other logistics, many indie authors opt to send e-book/ digital copies instead. ARC readers are not paid, nor do they legally have to submit reviews or advertise books.

ARC Form — AUTHORSAuthors please fill in this form!

ARC Form — READERSREADERS PLEASE FILL IN THIS FORM!

*Please note, these will only be for independently published authors at this stage. It will not guarantee you will receive a copy/readers, but will match you with readers/authors in the genres and interests you love.

2025 Dreams and Resolutions

Happy New Year!

2025 is already off to a bright start, and with it, brings new ambitions and fresh enthusiasm to make an effort. I’m sure as it does every year, things will wane and I’ll either forget or lose focus on what I want to achieve by December. However, it’s the first of the month and I’m determined to give it a try.

This year, I’m trying something new by incorporating not only yearly resolutions and goals, but monthly goals. These are bound to change, of course, but hopefully will make them far more manageable.

[image error]Pexels.com" data-medium-file="https://jennifereglynnauthor.com/wp-c..." data-large-file="https://jennifereglynnauthor.com/wp-c..." width="1880" height="1253" src="https://jennifereglynnauthor.com/wp-c..." alt="" class="wp-image-2137" srcset="https://jennifereglynnauthor.com/wp-c... 1880w, https://jennifereglynnauthor.com/wp-c... 150w, https://jennifereglynnauthor.com/wp-c... 300w, https://jennifereglynnauthor.com/wp-c... 768w, https://jennifereglynnauthor.com/wp-c... 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 1880px) 100vw, 1880px" />Photo by rovenimages.com on Pexels.com

I’d like to share some of them with you in the hopes that by making them public, I may be more inclined to follow through (and be held accountable by my regular readers… trust me, you will be needed.) There are other more personal goals I have, but they’ll be kept private for now. I’m also considering documenting the year with one photograph per day, but we’ll see how that goes…

I was hoping this year to join the Tasmanian Indie Authors Festival on April 12, but unfortunately, funds will not allow that when costs such as table fees, EFTPOS machines, stock, and other costs add up. However, I will be on the lookout for other author events and markets, so if you know of any in southern Tasmania, please don’t hesitate to share!

Merry Christmas!

Christmas is already on our doorstep, and before we all know it, I’ll be making a very similar post for 2025. The year definitely has flown, and with Santa on his way from the North Pole, it’s almost time to wrap things up.

[image error]Pexels.com" data-medium-file="https://jennifereglynnauthor.com/wp-c..." data-large-file="https://jennifereglynnauthor.com/wp-c..." width="867" height="1300" src="https://jennifereglynnauthor.com/wp-c..." alt="" class="wp-image-2071" style="width:215px;height:auto" srcset="https://jennifereglynnauthor.com/wp-c... 867w, https://jennifereglynnauthor.com/wp-c... 100w, https://jennifereglynnauthor.com/wp-c... 200w, https://jennifereglynnauthor.com/wp-c... 768w" sizes="(max-width: 867px) 100vw, 867px" />

I’d like to once again thank everyone for their continued support and encouragement this year (and to the two people who bought books yesterday, THANK YOU! I hope you enjoy them!). Writing and running a small business can be as stressful as it is exciting, so to know people have my back and believe in me truly makes all the difference.

To all the amazing friends I’ve met this year, including my betas and editors who made my latest novel, Call Me Rumpel, possible, thank you! I can’t wait to see what the new year will bring.

There are many exciting things to come next year, including new releases and more bookish products to make your reading experience extra special.

I hope you and your families and loved ones all have a safe and very happy Christmas. If you are travelling and/or an Aussie planning to hop in the pool to cool down in the extreme heat expected over the next few days, please stay safe! May all your wishes come true.

With endless love,

Jennifer xx

Coming soon… Book Covers

I’m pleased to announce that in the coming months, I’ll be offering a selection of fabric book covers and e-reader slips to purchase!

These items will be sewn by yours truly, with a variety of colours and materials available. If you are unfamiliar, these book covers wrap around your novels (hardback or paperback) to protect them from damage as you read, whilst e-reader slips keep your Kindle or Kobo Reader both protected from scratches and adds a bit of style. They will come in two sizes to begin with to fit most standard novels, as well as the possibility of tablet covers.

Better yet, they’ll be priced lower than the average market value.

If you’re looking for the perfect present or looking to upgrade your reading experience, check out the range when released. For updates, feel free to sign up to our newsletter.

Wishing you all a happy holiday season—just thirteen more sleeps’ til Christmas!

The Perfect Christmas Present – BACK IN STOCK!

Are you looking for the perfect Christmas present for yourself or for a teen looking for their next read? Something suitable for a reader who seems to have everything? Are you located in Australia and need a present that (*should*) get to you in time?

I have good news. I have one copy of both The Beaumont Egalitarian Society and Call Me Rumpel back in stock in paper back format, as well as one lot of the bundle package (both paper back books with combined postage). I’m still waiting for new copies, which are currently estimated to arrive towards the end of January/ early February, but have managed to get my hands on a couple of extra copies. (I know, I know, shouldn’t an author have an endless stockpile of their own book? In this case, sadly not.)

What’s even better than a book? An author-signed copy, of course! These copies will be signed and personalised* for the intended recipient, including a few extra goodies, and sent via Australia Post ASAP to get to you in time. Free gift-wrapping is also available should you want it.

I hope you all are having a wonderful start to the festive season.

With love,

Jennifer xx

*Note: Please clearly indicate the recipient’s name in your order so I know which name to write. If you have any other messages you’d like included, I’d be more than happy to help out.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be revealing some of the character art created for my novels. Whilst I love allowing readers to imagine the characters in their own way, others may enjoy visualising the characters the way I see them in my head.

To begin with, I’m introducing the female leads of my novels, as well as some of the other stories in progress/ released on Episode Interactive.
