A Busy Day

It's a busy day in the land of bethsorensen.com !

I'm being interviewed over at Chris Redding's blog for her Authorsday feature (See my previous post.), I'm doing a book signing tonight at The Palette & The Page in Maryland (Look under the Events page on this website for directions.), and the new issue of Sweet Tea Magazine is out and posted online at http://www.sweetteathemagazine.com/index.html (My article is on Page 18.)!

I'd love to elaborate on all of this in more detail, but I have a lunch date with my college-aged son today. So I'll post again soon and let you know how it all went!  Have a great day!

CRUSH AT THOMAS HALL ~ The Book Trailer

It took me over a year to make it happen, but thanks to the wonderful Adam Clapp at Plaid Clothes and Moving Pictures I am thrilled to present the book trailer for Crush at Thomas Hall. I will find a permanent home on my website for this trailer soon, but until then enjoy!

DIVORCING A DEAD MAN is now available!

I am pleased to announce that my latest novel, Divorcing a Dead Man, is now available in print through Barnes & Noble online and Amazon.com.

As for my e-reader lovers, Divorcing a Dead Man, will be available as an e-book in a few short weeks. I'll let you know when it's ready for purchase.

On a completely different note, I hope all my East Coast friends and fans weathered Hurricane Irene with no long term damage. Stay safe!

An Earthquake, A Hurricane & An Awesome Review!

It has been a crazy week at the Sorensen abode. Yesterday, we all felt the earth shake as a 5.8 magnitude earthquake rocked the East Coast. Today, my hubby is celebrating his birthday. (I think he is enjoying himself!) Tomorrow, my oldest child and only son (therefore, my favorite son) is moving into an apartment with three of his friends near campus. And if that isn't enough, I am watching Hurricane Irene creep closer and closer to the Chesapeake Bay; ultimately spoiling my weekend book signing event.

However, in the middle of this chaos, I am happy to report that a new review for Crush at Thomas Hall has been posted online by Kat Whittaker on her book review site Page Flipperz. This is my first review from Australia. My book is technically not available there, but I offered to send Kat a copy anyway. (A note from the author: Since posting this blog I did find out that Chalet Publishers' distributor does service both Australia and the U.K.)

So take a second and go read this awesome review! (Yes, I mean now. I'll wait until you're done!)

Pretty cool, huh? Maybe I have a future "down under". Thanks again Kat for such a nice review.

If you have some time, go hang out at the Page Flipperz website. (The link is just above the previous paragraph.) Kat Whittaker reviews a lot of books and is not shy about what she thinks. It is a great site!
