The British Fantasy Awards 2025

The British Fantasy Awards have just announced their shortlist and jurors for the 2025 awards.

I am so thrilled to see so many people that I know and whose work I admire on this list, but am sending my congratulations to EVERYONE.

Horror in the Howgills

I am delighted to be part of this event later this year, alongside some stellar authors.

The festival events take place in the People’s Hall, Howgill Lane, Sedburgh LA10 5DQ .

More information will appear here, but their will be panel discussion, talks, Q&A sessions, a film, and a folk horror story competition where the local winner will get to read their story for an audience.

Night and Day, Edited by Ellen Datlow

Night and Day is a new all original anthology from Ellen Datlow.

In the vein of the classic Ace Double books, one half off the book is night and the other is day, with different covers for each side. I am VERY excited to be included with “The Bright Day”.

The art is by Samuel Araya.

It will be available from SAGA Simon and Schuster in September 2025.
