I am a licensed clinical social worker who serves as a dedicated and compassionate therapist in Columbia, Missouri. With a personal understanding of the transformative power of therapy, I am committed to providing a safe and accepting space for individuals seeking support and guidance. In my debut memoir, "Finally Free: A Surrender to Authenticity" I share my personal journey through conversion therapy; shining a light on the trauma done to the psyche of the individual. I gear my practice towards authenticity and being true to oneself. For these reasons, I felt compelled to share my own story of trauma while shedding light on the dangers of conversion therapy. I want to be an example of authenticity to the larger public while at the same painting a path towards self acceptance and pointing out the real damage of religious trauma.(less)
