Hi, Michael - just spotted this question, sorry! I'm glad you enjoyed the books so much.

I don't currently have any more plans for stories in that universe. Been a while since I wrote them - though can't believe how quickly the time has gone! And I still enjoy rereading them myself even now. But I am thinking of moving towards pure sci-fi again, rather than the sci-fi romance that I've been working on the last few year. So watch this space and maybe see something similar in a while.

If you want a final little taste of that universe, I do have a short up on one of my other websites that you might like. Hmm, I should move a copy of that page to my main site actually.

I'm still proud of the very first novel I wrote, which was Shoot the Humans First. I'm proud of it's sequel, The Battle of Hollow Jimmy, because of the women characters in it. Of course I'm proud of the first one I sold, Liar's Waltz. Like I say, it's a tough question! But I think I'll plump for Patient Z. I still enjoy rereading it myself. I think the characters are interesting and had lots of fun figuring them out.

Thanks for the question!(less)

New-ish release day

I thought I was all done with the Backlist Bonanza re-releases of my older books, but never say never! As my publisher JMS Books recently opened their doors to all kinds of LGBTQ+ stories and not only Romance, a story of mine that's plenty saucy, but without that genre-defining happy ending can fit their list. So it's time for a new edition of my erotic paranormal historical novella, Immutable.

Marina Tsvetaeva
“There are books so alive that you're always afraid that while you weren't reading, the book has gone and changed, has shifted like a river; while you went on living, it went on living too, and like a river moved on and moved away. No one has stepped twice into the same river. But did anyone ever step twice into the same book?”

“Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind.
"Pooh!" he whispered.
"Yes, Piglet?"
"Nothing," said Piglet, taking Pooh's paw. "I just wanted to be sure of you.”

Jane Austen
“It would be mortifying to the feelings of many ladies, could they be made to understand how little the heart of a man is affected by what is costly or new in their attire... Woman is fine for her own satisfaction alone. No man will admire her the more, no woman will like her the better for it. Neatness and fashion are enough for the former, and a something of shabbiness or impropriety will be most endearing to the latter.”
Jane Austen, Northanger Abbey
