[Review] The Family Man Season 3 | Not Worth Watching, Honestly…
In the opening lines of the first episode, one of the Naga political leaders proudly mentions how they're lucky to have a PM who actually cares about peace. I couldn't tell whether they were being sarcastic, or trying to pander to the...

[Review] Party Down Season 1 2 3 | The Most Realistic Workplace Comedy? | Adam Scott
I binged this show in less than a week, flat. And honestly, I wish I hadn't. Because...

[Review] Frankenstein (2025) | Guillermo del Toro | The Adaptation We Deserve | Oscar Isaac | Jacob Elordi
I have honestly been waiting for a film like this since I first read Mary Shelley's Frankenstein in 2017. I almost promptly even saw the 1931 Hollywood monstrosity that was so idiotic and demeaning, I legitimately grew upset that this was how the world perceived Shelley's masterpiece.

[Review] The Blackening (2022) | Horror Comedy | A Racially Relevant Black Comedy (pun intended)
The Blackening takes a prevalent horror trope of 'black guy dies first' and flips it on its head. What we get as a result is a hilarious film that actually makes you question the horror genre.

[Review] Creature Commandos Season 1 | James Gunn | The DCU
Creature Commandos, at first glance as well as after finishing the show, is very clearly just James Gunn's The Suicide Squad with monsters.

[Review] The Phoenician Scheme (2025) | Wes Anderson | Benicio del Toro
I'm going to be honest and say this: I did not really enjoy The French Dispatch or Asteroid City. They were endearing in their own ways, but they didn't feel as moving as his earlier films. Because of that, I wasn't sure whether I would like The Phoenician Scheme (2025).

October 2025 Reading Wrap-Up | Classic Horror | Spooktober | JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure
It's Spooktober, and almost everything I read this month had a bit of a horror spin to it. I didn't really plan it, but it kinda just happened. Also, I am very close to finishing a book that's been on my CR for quite a while, so I'm super stoked about that.

[Review] Only Murders In The Building Season 5 | Who Killed Lester?
If I'm being honest, I wasn't a fan of the way the last season killed off Lester in its final scene. It felt like a cheap gimmick to tease the next season.

Why the Poor Don’t Kill Us: The Psychology of Indians by Manu Joseph is a non-fiction book that tries to understand why the poorest Indians don't revolt violently against the rich and the elites through multiple lenses.
