“To my mind there is nothing so beautiful or so provocative as a secondhand book store...To me it is astonishing and miraculous to think that any one of us can poke among the stalls for something to read overnight--and that this something may be the sum of a lifetime of sweat, tears, and genius that some poor, struggling, blessed fellow expended trying to teach us the truth.”

“Sit down every day and DO IT. Writing is a self-taught craft; the more you work at it, the more skilled you become. And when you're not writing, READ.”

Hello Jennifer! I just wanted to say, I finished Holding Up the Universe in one sitting and I loved it! I read ATBP and this one less than a month after releasing and I love you!! Your writing is absolutely beautiful. Please keep writing. You are a beautiful person!
Hi Jennifer! Thank you so much for accepting my friend request! I work at a public library and we are doing a book discussion on your book! I was wondering if you would be able to do a skype with our group? I loved your book and cant wait for our group to read it and be in love with it too! Have a great day or night!:) p.s sorry for all of the exclamation marks...I'm just so excited!
Thank you for the accepting my friend request. This has been the hardest year for me and my family. I lost my husband to suicide. This book was therapeutic for my life journey. I felt exactly like
Violet at the end. All those questions of " what ifs" and "what did
I do" or "could've done" was me this year. I love the ending of finding
all of Finch's letters. JUST PERFECT!!! Thank for an AMAZING book.
I can't say it enough... THANK YOU!!! Steph
