It's a tweet that is attached to your twitter profile. When someone visits your page, that's the first tweet they see; so make it a good one.
I said simple, right. Here's how. Post your tweet then click the "..." option. One of those options is "pin to profile." Here's my profile with the pinned tweet promoting my new Jake and Laura novel.
