Jennifer Lynn Jones (Jenny Jones, J. Lynn Jones) was born and raised in the tiny town of Independence, Oregon, where she converted to Islam from Christanity at the age of fourteen after reading an English translation of the Quran as part of a high school class assignment.

Jenny is the author of Believing as Ourselves (Amana, 2002), a practical guide for the empowerment of Muslim women, and the new memoir, All Roads Lead to Jerusalem (Titletown/Beaufort, 2014). She is active in the North American Islamic community and has written articles for Ma'an News Agency (the largest Palestinian wire service), the Seattle Times, and has contributed to the Islamic Society of North America's(ISNA)nationally circulated magazine, Islamic Horizons.
