Georgia E Brown has used her love of writing to produce The Stalker's Song, her first novel for Crime/Thriller aficionados.

After a long and successful business career specialising in Human Resources, but also incorporating entrepreneurial ventures such as retail, property development and management consultancy, the author has used her people skills to great advantage in developing the characters in this novel.

I've read a number of great books this summer, as well as some not so good.
Just finished Fatal Thrones, a book about the six wives of Henry VIII, written from the viewpoint of each individual wife. Each account is written by a different author. I couldn't put it down. It was fascinating and I learned a little more about that period of history.
Another historical fiction I thoroughly enjoyed was Munich by Robert Harris, which told the story of Neville Chamberlin's negotiations with Hitler just prior to World War 11.
In a completely different genre, I read Circe by Madeline Miller, a tale of Greek Mythology. At first, I didn't think I was going to enjoy this book, but by the end I didn't want it to finish.
One book I didn't enjoy was Kate Atkinson's One Good Turn. I found it difficult to follow as it went off at too many tangents. It made reading hard work. She's a great writer and I've enjoyed other books by this author -just not this one.(less)

Sunrise at Whitley Bay

Just love this wonderful sunrise over the North Sea at Whitley Bay, showing St Mary's Island, where Carol walked with Fiona in 'The Stalker's Song'
