After a fifteen‑year break from publishing — caused by life, chaos, and at least one incident involving a printer that shall never be spoken of again — Lee Emerick has returned with the energy of someone who has been storing stories like a dragon stores treasure.

He kept writing the whole time. He just didn’t release any of it. Which means he now has fifteen years’ worth of pent‑up storytelling pressure, and the valve has officially snapped.

He is now publishing everything he’s written, one book at a time, before the madness consumes him entirely. Readers are invited to witness this process from a safe distance.

Book review by C. P. Barry

Any book that begins with the author’s confession that it all came to him in a dream, or in the case of this book, a three part mini-series dream, would normally have me back-clicking quickly— Run away! Run away! You’ve got a dream? Awesome. I’ve got one too, but in mine I have to go back to high school to complete a single course, only I can’t find the room and I’m naked… Not scary, you think? Sounds good Martin. A prequel would be interesting to write, especially looking further into the outbreak itself and the characters responsible!

Martin Belcher Hi Lee, regarding your comments about a possible sequel to the Zombie Apocalypse series; I would love it set during the outbreak itself and with some new characters. Perhaps some link to Doctor Shayne and the research facility might be interesting too? All the best, Martin.
