Kristine Groenhart werd geboren in 1964 in Dordrecht en verslond vanaf het moment dat ze kon lezen alle boeken van de bibliotheek. Al snel had ze alle kinderboeken uit en begon ze aan de boeken voor volwassenen. De boeken van de Engelse Enid Blyton waren en bleven haar lievelingsboeken, vooral de serie over een kostschool: Malory Towers. Later ging Kristine Nederlands studeren aan de universiteit van Amsterdam, met afstudeerrichting jeugdliteratuur. Hierna werd ze lerares Nederlands op verschillende middelbare scholen. In 1998 verhuisde ze met haar man en kinderen (een jongen en een meisje) naar Engeland. Toen haar kinderen oud genoeg waren om naar een Engelse school te gaan, herkende Kristine veel uit de boeken van Enid B ...more
