Does God exist??

If god is the only all-powerful doer in the world, then he will have to be regarded as the cause of all evil that is the essential part of this world. One will then have to conclude that god is not good.

If god is regarded as good who permits evil to operate freely, then we will have to accept that he is not all powerful. If god is regarded to have created souls, then why did he not make them good? Why has he made them evil also? Has he done so to enable him to punish them for the sins they commit in the world? If god has called the souls to operate in the world and given it to himself to see whether they act sinfully or correctly, then he will have to be regarded as not omniscient, because if he had been omniscient, he should have foreseen it. All this will have to be regarded as perverse, unworthy of a noble and kind entity-to let persons fall into hell and suffer horrible tortures for actions for which they have not been directly responsible.

If god has created the world, what would have been his motive? If he did on account of his desire, was he in a state of dissatisfaction before creating the world? If so, be cannot be regarded as eternally blissful and perfect.

If god has created the world out of love, to lead the unredeemed souls to salvation, then why only a very few souls reach it? Why did he conjure up the torments of the world? He could have acquired his objective in a different, better way, because he is all powerful.

If god has created the world to let the souls selected by him enjoy the rewards, and others rejected by him, be condemned to hell, etc., then he will have to be regarded as partial to some and enemical to others. This would question his sense of justice; he will have to regarded as arbitrary and unjust.

If god has created the world for his play, if the world is his lila, without a purpose and a goal, just for his entertainment, then he must be regarded as a ‘horrible master who finds the pleasure in the sufferings of the innumerable living beings’. God’s existence cannot be proved by any means of knowledge, perception, inference, or the absurd theory of Maya.
