Any other Scrabble lovers out there?
No electric lines up here, and when there's no wind to turn our windmill, and no sun to hit our two little solar panels, power gets mighty low.
No TV, no playing online. Nope, we were down to one lightbulb. "Oh boy! A Scrabble night!" :)
Three games last night. Only one 7-letter word (50-point bonus) for me, and that was the very last play. Had been stuck with vowels, vowels, vowels, all game, and must've rearranged those last 7 letters in my tray a zillion times.
Did have a rare and precious S. But then there was the U, A, I, R, T, G.
RAT? RAG? STAR? SARI? Not enough points to narrow the 45-point gap between me and Matt and let me finish with a little self-respect lol. RAITA, nope need two As. RIATA, ditto.
All of a sudden, it dawned on me. GUITARS. Heh heh. Sorry, Matt! But, hey, you won the previous game :)

Gotta figure out how to post pics here...
Because, after bragging about beating Matt in Scrabble, I sure got my comeuppance.
Not only did he beat me soundly, his very last word—with 6 letters left in his tray— was TROUNCE.
Grrr....
