As time goes on, getting interviews becomes a very important tool for advertising Indie published books like Revealing the Druid Legacy.

I have been fortunate to have gotten some recorded interviews. One I especially like is Life of a Druid Priestess in the Dark Ages. It can be accessed through Karen Tate's Blog Talk Radio show called Voices of the Sacred Feminine.

Today I got the link to an online website interview with Liz Ambrico. The Meet Shellie Enteen pages are beautiful to look at and her questions were great.

She also asks authors for something they know or feel that will help other authors. I was happy to share some things I learned in the process and my point of view about writing.

I was happy to see how many entered the contest for a free e-book of The Last Priestess. I congratulate the 100 winners and hope you enjoy the journey of reading the start of Anwen's life story.

People say they are drawn into the world of the late 5th Century Welsh Druids and, like me, enjoy spending time there.

This is a very different telling of the famous Arthur Legend and it surprised me while I wrote the information, inspired by my Muse. But as one reader said after finishing all three books, he found it was the most compassionate and believable portrayal of Arthur and the wonderful Merlin.

In research I found that the stories we are most familiar were written as entertainments, starting with some folk tales and embroidering their own, a hundred and more years after the great Chieftain, his teacher, and the Priestesses lived.

Book Three has an addendum that covers some of the research on things I was told while writing. All the validation I received are like pearls on the necklace of a vow completed.

There may be more on the series...shorter writings with back stories readers are asking for. I may do these with Kindle Vella. Just looking at potentials now.

Happy New Year! 2024 will be a much more powerful year with potentials for achievement.

I'm so happy and excited that all the pieces are finally in place and there are two opportunities to attend the Pre-Launch events for Priestess of the Prophecy. There will be an opportunity to dialogue about The Last Priestess and Priestess of the Realms, and also hear a passage from Book Three of the trilogy: Priestess of the Prophecy.

The events are both on Zoom and the choices are: Friday, January 12th at noon EST and/or Friday, January 12th at 7:00 pm EST.

Hooray. It was like pulling teeth this time but thanks to one of my Beta Readers using her Canva I was able to get the cover company to create another Cover for the Revealing the Druid Legacy series that I love.

It would not have been possible for me to approve a cover for the culmination of this well-reviewed (on Amazon) and beloved trilogy unless it conveyed the right energy.

Book One had the theme of Green because it was her youth and initiation time. Book Two had a Blue theme as it was the color of her initiate Priestess robe and represents Wisdom.

And I have chosen Purple for Priestess of the Prophecy as it suggests the Druid plan for the future and spiritual energy.

We are now on track for the mid-January launch and I will be posting about the Pre-Launch event and how to join me there.

I know I'm not alone in feeling that things have been frustratingly slow or blocked in some way. A long cycle of Retrograde Planets and an Eclipse Cycle has an affect on things.

The cover art company I use is not the only lagging piece, but it is the one that has caused the need for me to postpone the launch of book three in mid-November.

If you're not an idie author, I'll tell you that before you can publish, you upload a formatted book and then you must have the cover (front, back, and spine) and order a proof which is crucial. When you have approved that, hopefully without needing tweaks, you are go to go.

Today I got the first potentially acceptable front cover and it needed tweaks...some pretty major. so it can be another week or two before they return their suggested cover to me. If approved, then we work on the back cover.

Since I can't do mid-November and the holidays loom, I will launch in mid January. I am suggesting that books one and two would make great holiday gifts and signed copies can be ordered directly from me by 11/20. If they have both books to binge, they won't have long to wait for the grand finale.

And I do think you will find Priespess of the Prophecy worth waiting for!

Just a quick post to let you know that Book Three, Priestess of the Prophecy, is being read by Advance Readers and the cover art is being prepared.

Hopefully, we're still on track for a November 14 launch.

Now that I have finished telling her story, I miss being in Anwen's world. I am finding my way back by rereading Priestess of the Realms and getting more out of the wisdom in Anwen's training. And I'm finding the words of a reviewer are true...this book will be on the shelf to consult time and time again. There's always more to see.

I'll be back with updates as the next launch draws near.

Book Two is making it's way out there now and the reviews on Amazon are wonderful.

I have had also a remarkable experience after lending the proof copies for Book One and Book Two to a friend and her response was that she loved them so much and knows she has to read them again, so she's buying her own copies!

And I'm finding, time and again, that people out of what I would have considered my 'target audience' are loving these books. One recently asked me if I knew how deeply these books would touch the reader. and I answered truthfully, "No. And that's because it wasn't a design just a flow. I wasn't aware I was writing this book to be given to others until late in the process."

With Book Two people have asked if I practice all the tools Awnen has been given and I also answered, No. But I have often wished I would and so with others who will have those after Book Two (and the beginning fo Book Three...with Advance Readers now), I'm thinking of having online groups to delve into the teachings and tools.
