Maria Schmeig is an attorney, mother, and author of her memoir, Don’t Poke the Bear- Recovering From Abuse By A Narcissist. While successfully navigating her law career and raising three great kids, she masked to the outside world what she endured at home from her abusive husband. After a lifetime of legal writing, she wrote her personal story. She hopes that her book will help others see their situation for what it is and find hope for a better future. Maria recently retired from the legal profession and spends her time blogging about narcissistic abuse, gardening, and enjoying her ever-growing family, especially her grandchildren and their giggles.
