I was thinking of attempting a little Andy Rooney/Ron Judd type cynicism and humor in this publication until a silver-haired gentleman told me, “I knew Andy Rooney, and you sir, are no Andy Rooney.”
Leonardo Urena of Napa, California won the 38th annual Pumpkin Weigh-Off in Half Moon Bay this year with a 1,704-pound entry. I wonder what his water bill is like.
Regarding the recent attacks on Romney and Huntsman’s religion: One man’s religion is another man’s cult. Interesting to hear Huntsman speak in fluent Mandarin though. Could be handy someday.
Our dog Charlie, misunderstanding the words in LMFAO’s Rock Party Anthem, has been wandering around the kitchen singing, “Every Day I am Snuffling.”
And finally, in the category of Thinking Small, the words of Charles H. Duell, U.S. Commissioner of Patents in 1899: Everything that can be invented has been invented.
