If I loan someone a copy of my book, and they read it, have they now "stolen" the content?

What if I was given that particular book by someone else. Are we all therefore, "thieves?"

Or are we only questioning the rights to "electronic" versions of our work. Why?

Should books have a coin slot on them, requiring a payment each time the cover is cra Read more of this blog post »

Nefariousbig Hi John. Thanks for the friend request. After reading your profile, and knowing myself, I hope I will not offend too many of your sensibilities. That said, my oldest son is halfway through bootcamp at MCRD. I'm sure you will have something you teach me about patriotism.

Cheers to Wednesday,
Fran

Fatima Hey John ! Thanks for the add , nice to meet you :D

John David Good to hear of your interest. Which book are you most interested in? And to where shall I send it?

I also narrate audiobooks, and I just auditioned for one that tells the story of The New Zealand Hobbit Crisis.

It should be a really fun project. Wish me luck!

L Dear John,
I would like to thank you for the friendship request. I do generally read fiction but i have also read some non-ficiton, as it does depend on the subject matter. Having a look at your work above i hope you do not mind me being so bold in saying that it looks of interest to me, and if you would ever like someone to read & review your work then i would be more than happy to. (I do post online reviews of everything i read).
Kind regards
Lucinda x

John David You are welcome. Thanks for accepting it . . .

Did you read George Will's column re the election yesterday? It would have been hilarious if it were not so sadly true.

Robert Thanks for the friend request, John.
