Wanda Sykes is an acclaimed American stand-up comedian, actress, and writer known for her sharp wit, fearless comedy, and groundbreaking presence in entertainment. She first gained prominence as a writer for The Chris Rock Show, earning a Primetime Emmy Award in 1999. Celebrated for her candid humor and social commentary, she has since starred in numerous popular series, including Curb Your Enthusiasm, The New Adventures of Old Christine, Black-ish, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Since 2021, she has co-starred in the Netflix sitcom The Upshaws and also appeared in The Good Fight and The Other Two.
