Due to this "whodunit" detective story largely taking place in a grand country hotel, this novel certainly has a more claustrophobic feel than the other novels in this series. Still a great read. ...more

Great detective novel, taking place in a quintessential English village. The cast of interesting characters kept me guessing right until the end. Some great chemistry between DCI Barnaby and Sergeant Troy.
