I escape, go cycle on my bike for a while, go out and enjoy people and talk to them, escape. I get a kick out of my garden and when I finish, I sit on the back deck with the dogs, watch the chickens run around and listen to Zumba music, music of the 70's and 80's

. Then, I go and be of service to people, whether its a smile, a good laugh or a great party!...I truly found out that if I love myself, I can get through writer's block. I'm here to serve people and not me. Overall, get away from writing, go do something different, and I'll bet you'll find your next book to write.

I love you all,
Edna

Even though there are times that you laugh, cry, someone leaves you, well, you gather all your tears and put them away. You use those experiences in your characters and they come to life. I experience and experienced life to write for others and that is my gift and what I am here in this world to do. I enjoy my life and writing.(less)

You’re A Liar

How hard can it be to tell someone that you are a liar and a thief?

You’re dumb or in so many words, you’re lazy?

How hard can it be to destroy someone on a thought, it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3.

A telephone conversation of malicious gossip and back lash,

You know what they say, you’re lying,

Everyone wants to take my money—by this by that—

They call and say you will do as I say and not as I do, they bully y

Shakespeare, Robert Frost, Walt Whitman did it, why can't I?

The words of Horace, his laconic phrase. Does it amuse me or frighten me?

Does it rub salt in an old wound? Horace, Shakespeare, Robert Frost and Walt Whitman my loves,

we've all had a taste of the devils carpe of forbidden food.

My belly is full of mourning over life mishaps of should have's, missed pleasure, and why was I ever born?

The leaf falls from the trees from which it was born in and cascade down like a feather that tumbles and toil in the wind.

One gush! It blows away. It’s trampled, raked, burned and finally turns to ashes which fades away like the leaves of grass.

Did Horace get it right? Trust in nothing?

The shortness of Life is seventy years, Robert Frost and Whitman bared more, but Shakespeare did not.

Butterflies of Curiosities allures me more.

Man is mortal, the fruit is ripe. Seize more my darling!

Enjoy the day.”
