The 2ND Greatest Christmas Story Ever Told!
Happy Almost Christmas Everyone,
It feels like such a long time since I have had time to just relax and enjoy Goodreads that it seems totally new again. The truth is that life has been so hectic trying to finish writing my latest book that I have been quite anti-social on social media.
Perhaps, I should set up a social media app for people like me, who like the idea of conversing with other people with similar interests but simply never get a moment. Then again, I guess the people that would use it would not be the people it was aimed at lol.
Anyway, my latest book "600 SECRET SANTAS WITH SHOTGUNS" is finally finished and now relaxing on Amazon. If anyone fancies reading an insane, very funny, exceedingly sexy crime love story, you now have a new option.
Furthermore, I would dearly love some reviews as they really do help me. Just please be kind.
As my Mum always says "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. Strange that, as she has not called me in 10 years!" Just to confirm, that was a joke.

Why do the heroes of "THE FILM FREAKS" all have disabilities?
I have been asked that same question so many times, so I thought it time to answer it.
The reason all of the characters in this book have astounding disabilities is because I wanted to write a book that showed disabled people in a non-stereotypical way.
In so many books disabled characters are portrayed as weak or pathetic. However, having worked in schools with people who have disabilities for so many years I have learnt that the opposite is true. Many people who have a disability are actually incredibly tough, they often have to be in order to navigate the world that we live in.
An autistic student that I once worked with also told me that he did not like reading or even watching TV because nothing was ever written for him.
This gave me the inspiration to write a hero novel where instead of having super powers like Marvel's Avengers, my characters would be the antithesis of that. They would use their personal disabilities in the only way that they could because they did not have a choice.
Their very disabilities would be the reason that they would be tasked with trying to save the town of Dorchester in Dorset, when something goes terribly wrong, threatening humanity itself.

A Writer Lost In The Sales
Once a year it happens. After all of the festive celebrations end I find myself, like so many others, lost in a world of bargain hunters and shopaholics at the Christmas sales.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I like a bargain just like every other human. However, when it comes to the sales, I truly believe that was the reason that the internet was invented.
I often wonder as I sit in the shoe section of (insert random department store name here), how many other men around the world are doing exactly the same thing in other shops around the world.
That’s another thing, am I the only guy in the world who gives a sigh of relief when he walks into a shop with his wife, upon finding that it has a shoe section? I believe not. For the magical shoe section of any shop truly is the place that I find sale happiness.
Not that I am remotely interested in buying shoes. I just know that if a shop sells shoes, it also has a place where I can sit and ponder the problems of the universe. Usually, whilst my wife happily hunts for bargains.
Whoever invented the humble shoe section, was indeed a genius and a true humanitarian.
