¡Bienvenidos! Välkommen! Bienvenue! Willkommen!

Welcome to old and new Goodreads compatriots. I'm full of enthusiasm for all readers of the world—maybe because I'm in Sweden for the month. On the train, not only do I see iPads, but also books in hand with French, Swedish, German, and even English titles. I've passed out some bookmarks for my novel to people I've met in hopes to spread the word.
With all the Goodreads authors available, choosing the next book to read is both hard to do and a pleasure. So...if you've read The House on Harrigan's Hill, you know it's a dramatic story filled with lively characters, California history, and circumstances 100 years ago that are hard to imagine in modern-day life. I ask you to pass on the title to your friends.
If you haven't yet read The House on Harrigan's Hill by C. J. Noonan, my request is to mark the book as your next read. Check out Amazon and Goodreads for reviews. You will find the Edwards family isolated in the Sierra Nevada railroad town of Truckee, California, in 1910, a time of social and economic upheaval all over California. The four Edwards children make their way through the town and meadows and mountain trails, facing anger, disappointment, sadness, and forgiveness before descending the mountains to Sacramento.
I urge my Goodreads pals to look at www.cjnoonan.com to see new posts to my website blog and listen to recordings of songs from the novel. Last, go to my Claire Noonan Facebook page for “what's new.”
