S.R. Zobel answered Goodreads's question: Where did you get the idea for your most recent book? Truthfully, it was a combination of things. I needed an outlet for my grief after losing a sibling in 2016. But I was also very eager to get back into writing after telling myself for so many years that it wouldn't lead to anything.
