Daryl Fraser is winner of the 'Debut Novel' category in the 2025 East Anglian Book Awards, with Silver Harvest.
Daryl was born and raised in Lowestoft. He left school at 15 without qualifications but later went on to study Literature and History at the University of East Anglia. He began his writing career only after retiring, when he became fascinated with the town’s history and felt that it deserved to be dramatised. Silver Harvest places generations from a fictional family into the dynamic of real history.
Daryl lives in Norwich with his wife, Jo. He says he can’t stay away from the sea for long and is a frequent visitor to his hometown. His interests include photography, improvisation comedy, and travel. ...more
