That's what I call her. Writer's block is one of the most horrible, sinister bitches to ever live. You think the Wicked Witch of the West was something, hmmph, you've never met Writer's Block. The longest time she ever invaded my space was three years. I could have strangled her with my bare hands, but she wouldn't release me. I got so frustrated, I cried sometimes, it was that bad. So, how do I deal with it? I ride it out until it leaves. I never know from one moment to the next how long she'll last, when she arrives, but what I do when I go through it is read other author's work. Sometimes, that will bring me out of my funk. For me, using my other talents will beat her up. When she's gone, I celebrate like there's no tomorrow. (less)
