Emilio Araya Burgos (Osorno, 1987) es teórico y escritor de Fantasía feérica. Cursa sus estudios de Licenciatura en lengua y literatura inglesa en la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile entre los años 2007 y 2012. El 2014 obtiene el grado de Master of Arts in English Literature por la Universidad de Leeds del Reino Unido.

Es el autor de Schmetterlinge, novela breve que publica el año 2010 al alero de Editorial Forja. Actualmente se encuentra preparando una colección de ensayos que espera publicar durante el segundo semestre del año 2015.
