Going with it...
Okay, so I know you all must be awaiting the sequel to The Promise and I started it because there was a demand for it, but when there is ink in your blood and your hear beats with the word count, you are compelled to work on the project that presses upon your mind, heart and spirit. You'll be happy to know that I have penned a second book and it is near completion. You may possibly hear about it in the summer months. I go where my imagination takes me. My characters form and come to life in my brain and I remain restless until I know exactly what they are doing and where they are going. I usually have an ending before a beginning...that's just me. My love for writing is indescribable! I wish I could put the joy it brings me into words. It's hard to make an author speechless or so I thought it was. So...I will keep you all posted! Until then, Happy Reading!

Back to my roots
Hello again! Just another blog to say that I have a central focus and I am very determined to see it through. I have decided to book appearances at my old neighborhood libraries and educational systems to encourage the youth. We sometimes forget that although there is nothing new under the sun, there are different situations happening today among our youth that we ourselves didn't have to deal with yesterday. I learned at an early age that a good book was a mode of escape from the problems. Creating a character; just anybody you wanted to be for an hour or two was enough to take off the stress and the tension. The mind is a powerful thing. You ever wonder why some inmates are locked up in body but still with joy? Because the mind is something that can never be locked up or chained down! The only person with the power to lock up your mind is you! So with that being said, your mind is a God given tool to transport you away. Read! And enjoy the escape that all authors provide you with. Who needs drugs and alcohol when you have a book in your possession? So come with me; I write your escape. Will you go with me? Even if its only for an hour or two?

Welcome!
For those of you who don't know me, I am T.S. Weatherspoon! An avid reader turned writer at an early age. I used to read anything Beverly Cleary the Baby sitters Club, and the Sweet Valley High Series. Pretty much anything i could get my hands on. I grew to love family centered stories that made me feel good after i read them. Then I started to make up better endings for other people's stories. I then decided to employ my typewriter...(yes, I said typewriter) and create stories of my own. I love to write fictional stories about people not only I but my readers can relate to. You'll always find someone like your aunt, mother or uncle in my books. Maybe even a character like yourself! My gift I used to use for my glory, became for God's glory and so I know I will go far. I ask you to read my newly published book, "The Promise" featured here on Good Reads, not only because I asked, but because it's a feel good story that no one should miss out on. This is my first blog but there will be more to come! Check me out at Tspoon75.net
