Jennifer answered Goodreads's question: Jennifer E. Archer
I like to use sensory triggers like a cup of tea, a candle, little rituals that help switch my mind into writing mode. I love music while drafting. Often stress is weirdly a huge help because retreating to a different world feels like a break. It's t See Full Answer
Jennifer and 3 other people liked Nicole's review of Into The Deep Blue:
Into The Deep Blue by Jennifer E. Archer
"5 star read. Into the Deep Blue was a refreshingly honest tale of loss, friendship and love. Alongside the honesty in Archer's words, came a rawness of feeling I have experienced with few other books. Nick and Fiona as characters are nuanced and deve" Read more of this review »
Jennifer and 2 other people liked Sloane's review of Into the Deep Blue:
Into the Deep Blue by Jennifer E. Archer
"Whew...I don't even know what to say. This was a lot. This book has been on my radar for a while, and I'm so glad I got an ARC. I haven't read this kind of genre in a while and it was interesting how the story was seemingly simple, but then sucks you" Read more of this review »

“And my heart melts with the sting of a fiery burn in the way only Fiona can make it.”
Jennifer E. Archer, Into The Deep Blue

“I miss him already. Sometimes, it feels like Nick lives on the flip side of my heart—that he’s
the upbeat, the oxygen that re-inflates everything. He gets it—this lost-in-space feeling we’re
trapped in because no matter how many times we call out to ground control, nobody answers.”
Jennifer E. Archer, Into the Deep Blue

“Isn't it funny how we live inside the lies we believe?”
A.S. King, Please Ignore Vera Dietz

“Sometimes it is perfectly acceptable to decide not to decide, to remain confused and wide-eyed about the next thing that will pop up in the road you build.”
Andrew Smith, Grasshopper Jungle

“It's only a game if there is an absence of meaning. And we've already gone too far for that.”
David Levithan, Dash & Lily's Book of Dares

“Because with Charlie, nothing was ever easy. Everything was windswept and octagonal and finger-combed. Everything was difficult and odd, and the theme songs all had minor chords.”
A.S. King, Please Ignore Vera Dietz

“It's like he would take a photograph of Sam, and the photograph
would be beautiful. And he would think that the reason the
photograph was beautiful was because of how he took it. If I took
it, I would know that the only reason it's beautiful is because of
Sam.”
Stephen Chbosky, The Perks of Being a Wallflower
