With a professional background in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, and AI, Dirk views technology as a purposeful tool for managing the complexity of his world—tracking thousands of individuals and ancient scripts—rather than a shortcut for creativity. He maintains a "Human-First" ethical stance, personally weaving every POV to explore the "Weight of the Individuum"—the belief that every decision counts and that no one walks the path alone.

Originally from Germany, Dirk lived in Canada before settling in the Pacific Northwest. He continues to curate the deep Borean archives alongside his wife—his most trusted creative partner—and their family of poodles and cats.
