David G. Hallman worked on environmental ethics for most of his career and during that time authored five books. Now retired, his writing has branched into different genres. A memoir "August Farewell" about the death of his longtime partner was released in early 2011 and his first novel "Searching for Gilead" was released in the fall of 2011. His collection of gay literary short stories "Book Tales" was published in September 2016. David lives in Toronto, Canada. ...more

About six weeks after Bill's death, I found myself becoming anxious about forgetting details of those incredibly intense two weeks between the day he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and the day he died.
