Victoria (Tori) V. Martínez researches and writes about history while living and traveling around the world with her husband David and two children. Tori, an American, likes to joke that she only married David, a Spaniard she met in England, because his knowledge of seven languages helps her immensely in her historical research.

Tori earned her undergraduate degree in Mass Communications from Texas Woman's University and her graduate degree in Applied Technology, Training and Development from The University of North Texas. After working in the corporate world as a public relations professional, Tori realized her passion for writing about history was what made her happy, so she packed up her life in America and spent two years living abroad. ...more
