Tim McRae writes fantasy stories that take place in a rich, wondrous realm known as the Shadow World , brimming with magic, adventure, mythical creatures, and a gaggle of genuinely likeable characters.

His books have garnered starring reviews from The International Review of Books, NetGalley, and Self-Publishing Review. His wife quite likes them, too.

At various times in his life, Tim has worked as a bartender, chauffeur, reservist, and coder. He has designed and built arcade games, owned a movie cinema, started (and lost) several businesses, built a successful house cleaning company and moved house something like eighteen times so far (which probably explains why he can never find anything when he needs it).
