I have just (finally) sent out the first official newsletter. After a long silence, I have returned. And I'm happy to announce that The Phoenix Darkness (which is now my favorite in the series) has an official, iron-clad, set-in-stone, actual release date! (FINALLY! I know, right? It's only been... years since The Phoenix War came out.) All of you have been so patient and understanding and really, and I mean this, the best group of readers any author could have the privilege of writing for.    As for other "news" I have changed this section of the website

After a long process of writing, editing, formatting, etc., I am happy to announce that The Phoenix War is NOW available on Kindle! It’s not all good news, however. The iTunes version got delayed (they need 7-14 days to post a submission to their store and I submitted it late). But don’t worry! iTunes readers can download Phoenix War on the 18th! (And it really will be the 18th. Seriously, no further delays!)

Here is a scene from The Phoenix War. On the facebook page I conducted a poll and asked everyone which character they’d like to see a sneak peek of from The Phoenix War. It was a close runoff between Calvin and Shen. In the end, Calvin won. But since Calvin’s scenes are too spoiler-heavy, I am only going to include a small excerpt from his scene and then an entire scene from Shen’s point of view.
