Jim has been an avid cartoonist since childhood. After retiring from a successful career as a sign contractor, he finally found time to complete a lifelong passion project: The RainGrabber. He began writing and illustrating the story decades ago, fitting it into the limited time he had while running his business. Now retired, he has completed and published the book, bringing the fridders of Fridderlee to life for readers everywhere.

He attended the University of Pennsylvania and is a proud Army veteran living the good life in rural PA.
