Now, 'gently retired'. I have closed my bookshop but still host a radio programme each Sunday night from 10pm to 1 am. 102.3fm or harboroughfm.co.uk Last years, published A Life of Blind Willie McTell with another blues book coming out later in the year.
Previously, wrote twenty mystery novels which follow the characters from the 1920s through to the 1960s. A series of of his radio theatre plays have been broadcast on fm radio. My first book was written while I was laid up, on doctor's ordeers in a hotel room on holiday, but I guess some of best work has grown out of ideas that have been in my head for some time but I've never got round to working on for a few years. All of my 'creative stuff' is done out of doors. I don't know why.(less)

Writers block for me is when my imagination or creative cooking has not caught up with the script. I insist that I write something every week just for myself, something that will see no reader. That seems like good preventative medicine.(less)

That;s great news! Hope you enjoy it

Candace Hi Malcolm, I can't find the place where I can send you a message! I've never had that problem before... But I knew you would want to know that I finally received my package!! I'm very excited and can't wait to get to it soon. Thanks so much.

Malcolm Noble I recommend Agatha Christie!! Not here to promote, Lauren (but Peggy Pinch is the one I like most). So pleased you started the reading group; I have always dismissed Styles but can see much in it to enjoy. So thank you!
