Children’s book writer and poet, Kelly Conroy, is 50% silly, fun-loving, never-grow-up big kid and 50% hard-working, focused, analytical actuary. She loves all things magical, whimsical, and numerical, and her goal in life is to make people smile.

Her books include YOU ARE MY EVERYTHING (Tiger Tales, 2024) and I SEE YOU IN THE STARS: A ZODIAC BOOK FOR BABIES (Familius, 2026).

She was initially inspired to write by her cousins, Stan and Jan Berenstain, creators of the Berenstain Bears, and continues to be inspired by her two rambunctious sons and mini goldendoodle, Chewy. This is very cute and very relatable! I can see my sister and I in the book, and I can see my two sons in the book too. I love how the tables get flipped at the end! Very cute sibling story!

This is a beautiful book with gorgeous illustrations. I loved learning about the tradition of offering food to the God Ganesha first and how that act of selflessness is rewarded at the end.

Lovely book with a beautiful message. We are all uniquely unique! And I loved how seamlessly the Spanish was weaved in with the English. It shows how universal this message really is!

Street Puppy, Masjid Cat is GORGEOUS and bursting with heart. I feel like I just watched a movie.

What a powerful and important book! It beautifully explains to kids that parental substance abuse is NOT their fault. I hope this book finds its way to every affected child.

The snappy text and vivid illustrations make this book fun, fun, fun!!!! It is an anthem for inclusivity. I recommend this for every classroom!

The illustrations with their limited color palate are stunning. This book is very fun and playful and would be great for story time!

Thank goodness for doctors like Dr. Kathleen Friel who help kids, and thank goodness for authors like Danna Zeiger who write beautiful books about them! This is a great book about overcoming obstacles and making the future better for lots of people.
