Nov. 2nd—Your turn to ask the questions! Interview the characters...

I've been invited to guest on Marie Sexton and Heidi Cullinan's neat little blog called, believe it or not, Cup-o-Porn. Despite the blog name, my post will not be porn. It could, however, be sexy.

Here's your chance—
Inquire, and then read all about it on November 2nd!

Ask Luki and Sonny anything you want to know—their favorite fragrance, their favorite position, what made them fall for their man... Or, you can ask other characters for bits of gossip (maybe Margie or Kaholo). I'll get answers and post them for equiring eyes.

I can't guarantee Luki and Sonny will answer all questions, but it could be fun to find out just how far they'll go! This won't work well at all without your help, so please, give it a little thought, and send your questions—best if you leave them here in a comment but if you prefer, send them to me at lou(dot)sylvre(at)gmail(dot)com.

(I'm really looking forward to this!)

Vasquez and James in Finding Jackie: they're still at it!

I can't believe I haven't posted since New Year's? Time has just slipped right through my fingers. Well, at long last I have something yummy to share in the world of Luki and Sonny.

Reese Dante's cover for Finding Jackie:

Finding Jackie by Lou Sylvre art by Reese Dante

...and a little blurb to lure you!

Luki Vasquez and Sonny Bly James finally have their Hawaiian wedding, and it's perfect, almost. But their three-phase honeymoon is riddled with strife. Luki's status as a working badass spells discord for the newlyweds. A former informant from Luki’s days with ATFE brings a troubling message (or is it a warning?) from a Mob hit man. When Luki’s sixteen-year-old nephew, Jackie, is lured into capture and torture by a sadistic killer, the honeymoon is well and truly over.

The couple put aside their differences and focus on the grueling hunt, which takes them from leather bars to dusty desert back roads, and calls on Sonny’s deep compassion as well as Luki’s sharpest skills. Their world threatens to fall apart if they fail, but their love may grow stronger than ever if they succeed in finding Jackie—before it’s too late.

I'm thrilled that this is coming out soon from Dreamspinner Press. I don't have a release date yet, but I'll post it as soon as I do!

New Lou Sylvre book: A Shot of J&B, and links to a contest!

Oh my goodness, I haven't been here since last May. Forgive me! I knew I was behind but not quite that bad. I do have news to share today, as you can see from the post title. :)
***

A Shot of J&B will be released by Dreamspinner press on March 16th, but it's up for preorder now, and checkout code SHOTOFJB will get you 20% off. That fabulous cover you see above was created by Reese Dante, and I personally love it. The book is the first of a new series spinning off from Vasquez and James.

Here's the blurb:

Six years ago, Brian Harrison helped save the life of Jackie Vasquez, and he’s never really forgotten him. After the rescue, Brian ended his employment with Jackie's uncle Luki and left the US for England, aiming to distance himself from the confused feelings—not lust, but not brotherly—that then sixteen-year-old Jackie engendered. Now Jackie has become a man, and when they meet again by chance, lust with a dose of D/s rope kink is definitely on the list of possibilities. As they get to know each other, though, lust shows every sign of growing into love, deep and true.

When Jackie moves to London for graduate studies in criminal psychology, he and Brian hope they’ll be able to enjoy each other's frequent company. But they haven't factored in the claim Brian's police job with Scotland Yard will make on his time, especially when the “Gaslighter crimes” sap investigative resources. An abandoned aide dog named Soldier leads to a breakthrough clue, and a chain of discoveries fall like dominoes. As Brian rushes to beat the criminal’s game before it escalates to true terror, he comes to an undeniable conclusion: Jackie Vasquez, the man he loves, is in mortal danger.

In even newer news, I'm starting to plot out book 2 in this series (which is called Vasquez Security, the Next Generation :) ). Working title for book 2 is A Cup O' Kindness, no idea yet when it will be done, but right now you have a chance to have you name on a character in the book, or your bird, cat, or dog can be a character. You can enter three times and up your chances to win this, by visiting these two links:

On my blog at rainbow-gate.com: An excerpt from A Shot of J&B (Sonny James’ timely advice to Brian!) And a contest

On Love Bytes: Lou Sylvre with One (sexy) excerpt, two questions, three chances to win a prize!

(And, you may also find few sexy pics while you're there!) *heh*

I'd love to hear from you here, as well as there. Thanks for reading!
