While earning a degree in English - Creative Writing at Eastern Michigan University, I started my career working in the information technology sector. In the 1990s, with my education and creative side still driving me, I began developing the storyline for a series of books based in Celtic Ireland, which came to be named Dàn Cycle (aka Destiny Cycle).

The opening novel in this semi-historical series was first published in 2001. That edition has been rewritten and expanded into two novels, replacing the original work. Lann Dàn - Blades of Destiny: Dàn Cycle One is available now, as is the second novel, Lia Dàn - Stone of Destiny, The third novel, Ćroí Dàn - Heart of Destiny, is underway and is expected to be published by August 2024. The fourth novel, Laoch Dàn - Warriors of Destiny, and the fifth novel, Leannáin Dàn - Lovers of Destiny, are projected for 2025.

Ćroí Dàn chooses Breanna Ban Morna as Erin’s Hero after freeing her chief but failing to slay her Norse father. The Heart of Destiny leads her Hero to seek out Lia Dàn while evading the Dreadlord’s pursuit. After acquiring the Stone of Destiny, Breanna must wield the magic of the Triple Dàns to remove her father and his ilk from her land, a feat that will warp the Emerald Island’s fabric of time—and could claim Breanna’s soul!

Dàn Cycle Three, Ćroí Dàn – Heart of Destiny:
With memories of Breanna Ban Morna’s previous life as a Gaelic and Norse half-breed, a new destiny drives Erin’s Hero, where she seeks the Tuatha All-Father to discover what she has become. Having wielded the Triple Dàns, she must learn to walk Erin’s wheel of time and transform herself into the Tuatha Goddess of Time, to be the one who saves all Celts from ruin at the hands of powerful Christian-driven dynasties like the Romans and Britons!

Thanks for finding me here and reading this launch update. I don't have much to share about Dàn Cycle Four, Warriors of Destiny, other than it will focus on Breanna's Warriors of Destiny finishing their mission to ensure Gaels Rule!

UPDATE: Breanna and her Warrior of Destiny will include an attempt to keep Egypt from falling to Rome!

As the Mother Goddess sets the young warrior on her quest to find the Blades of Destiny, little does Breanna know that the Norse leader has invoked ancient enemies of the Tuatha to stop her. It takes an intervention by another God of the Tuatha pantheon to ensure that Erin’s Hero can pursue her goal of removing the Norsemen from their land.

Yet, when the headstrong warrior chosen by the Tuatha Gods to save the Gaels of Erin learns her Chief is in danger, she decides he must be her priority and not another quest for magic laid upon her by the Sun God, Lugh. Will her decision doom them all to a destiny that leads to the Norse ruling the Gaels of Erin?
