Lori Simone Hultin has been writing since she can remember, beginning with the somewhat obsessive diary entries and fantasy stories of her childhood.

Lori’s work is diverse and eclectic; she has written articles on parenting, suburbia, and aging for sites like Thrive Global and Patch, written about the sport of hockey for The Pink Puck, and penned numerous technical articles for a variety of trade publications.

For more than 25 years, Lori created and implemented Communications and Marketing programs for some of the world’s biggest tech companies including Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Cisco, and IBM, as well as a multitude of start-ups. The Women by Kristin Hannah - I always enjoy her novels.

The Women by Kristin Hannah - I always enjoy her novels.

Burn Book: A Tech Love Story by Kara Swisher - Kara has been a journalist in tech for nearly as long as I've been in the industry and I'm sure she has some interesting stories to tell.

Play it as it Lays by Joan Didion - I feel like I've only scratched the surface with one of the classic California (I know...and New York) writers of our time and I recently pitched this one to my book club to be sure I could get to it!

Your House Will Pay by Steph Cha - This one was a gift from my kids at Christmas last year and it has been sitting on my nightstand waiting for me to dig in.

Table for Two by Amor Towles - I absolutely loved "Gentleman in Moscow" and "The Lincoln Highway" so anything this man writes is instantly on my list.

Something by Taylor Jenkins Reid - I feel like I'm the only person on earth who hasn't read Ms. Reid's work (although I did watch the series "Daisy Jones & the Six") so getting to one or more of her books feels like a perfect Summer task.
