H.B. Berlow (1962- ) studied film-making at the University of Miami in the 80's; was involved in the Boston poetry scene in the 90's; and is a former president of the KWA (Kansas Writer's Association). He has concentrated largely on historical crime fiction, having been inspired by such writers as Dashiell Hammett and Raymond Chandler. WHERE TO NEXT?

I started writing historical crime fiction in 2016, with the first book of the Ark City Confidential Chronicles published in 2017. The series was completed in 2021. The new series, the Wichita Chronicles is underway. Book Four and Five will complete the series. There is a new historical crime fiction series that has been started.
