Things to expect: Plot over porn. Superheroes duking it out in violent action scenes, sometimes followed by emotional fallout. Sarcastic romance, sappy sentimentalism, and genuine jerk behavior. Cutting edge technology discussed, dismissed, and developed by superscientist billionaires. Strange and possibly disturbing blog posts that might be funny, but maybe aren't really, that also talk about people you don't know. Cats.

Snake bite in bad novel

Reading this novel and… Opening scene: Heroine gets bitten by a poisonous (venomous?) snake. Hero saves her life by sucking out the poison. She rests on the side while he completes her farm work. They both go back to their everyday lives. The romance novel begins.
