From the day I received my first diary in the second grade, I've been in love with the written word and the power it has to touch, stir, and reach from the depths of one soul to another. Though for a time (about 25 years) I dabbled in nonfiction, my heart has found a home in fiction.

My first novella, "Buried Deception," can be found in the newly released "Keep Me in Suspense" Collection. My second mystery, Digging Up Death, is available now. When I'm not writing or teaching, I love to encourage others (including my four children) to chase after their own passions.
