These winter days make for easier days to stay inside and write. I am working on a new novel about a man who chooses to use "Medical Assistance in Dying" to end his life after being given a terminal diagnosis. The story is told from the perspective of three people close to him.
Spending time with these characters has been thought provoking. Today I am wondering: We say goodbye to others all our lives, but how does one say goodbye to oneself?
