Passionate about foreign languages and cultures, I studied French and international relations at Tufts University, then international economic policy at Columbia University’s School of International & Public Affairs. I’ve worked at The Council on Foreign Relations in New York and the O.E.C.D in Paris.

Originally from Brooklyn, NY and Sudbury, MA, I spent a portion of my childhood on the island of Kwajalein, in Micronesia, and lived for over a decade in France – first Paris, where I began drafting fiction, then Aix-en-Provence.
