Nicole Rowles is an epic fantasy author. Her debut novel, Anarchist Underground, released in 2024.

Nicole writes stories she loves to read - immersive, character-driven and gritty fantasy novels with political intrigue, fast-paced action and adventure and a touch of romance.

Based in Brisbane, Australia Nicole has lived many lives, having worked as a professional dancer, TV journalist and media and communications adviser. She balances her passion for writing with her love of adventure sports like rock climbing, kayaking and canyoning, and wishes there were more hours in the day!

Anarchist Underground deleted scene - Chapter 9 Bryn's POV

DELETED SCENE!

When I first wrote Anarchist Underground, I intended to write the entire story from dual POVs, featuring chapters from both Aela and Bryn’s perspectives. However, as I progressed I realised that Aela’s voice alone made for a much more compelling story. I felt that Bryn’s perspective didn’t leave enough to the imagination.
